Sharing what Keeps me Well

Hello! My name is Anna Misiak, and I’m a part-time yoga teacher and a full-time academic based in the gorgeous, rainy county of Cornwall.

For over two decades, yoga has been my constant companion, helping me navigate life’s ups and downs, my work, my relationships, and the perks of being an immigrant in the UK after I came to Falmouth from Poland in 2006. Already back then, I was pretty dedicated to my regular yoga practice. It helped me overcome many obstacles.

I first discovered yoga in my twenties while living in Santa Monica, California, and have since explored various sequencing and cueing methods that I incorporate into my teaching today. As a teacher in the studio and at uni, I thrive on improving people’s lives, celebrating their unique minds (and bodies), and, of course, on sharing my knowledge and practice.

My yoga classes are challenging yet rewarding. They are designed to help you push past your limits and discover what you’re truly capable of. You may get sweaty, but the attention paid to the postures and the physical effort will give your mind a respite, relieving you from, if not all, at least some daily stress.

There is a teacher for everyone, and my clear cues and no-nonsense approach to the practice might be the right match for you. Step on your mat, and let’s practice together.
